this looks really interesting. as i have said, i have ordered this book..

the interesting part is the part on dssi.. the disposable synth interface.

i think my plan of attack on getting a music system set up on linux is going to be:

• set up a sequencer.
• set up jacks to run as the interconnect.
• set up some synths to play with…

just picked up this book on amazon yesterday.. well, not really. i ordered it, but it’s not in yet. i am looking forward to settling in this winter and busting some block rockin beats.

this is a good look at the developers of rosegarden. rosegarden is the latest full service sequencer offering. i am about to install and run it on a fedora core system, but i am not super sure when i will do this. probably after i finish up a super big and super hot project on the front burner now.
