douggie makes an excellent point in this post.

at first, it was charactaristically funny, because living in the midwest, people who drive racecars are revered like crazy. and i thought that was the direction of this post.. but reading on, i find that the point was ever more interesting..

we, as people, are really reflections of this things that we give value to or enjoy. while this is alot of the time fodder for us to segrate each other, it is also an opportunity to learn about each other..

so, when someone does see us, what is reflected? me, i would prefer never to know the answer to this question. i mean, good news or bad news, i just don’t wanna know what people think i stand for.

part of it i think may be fear that i may be swayed by it. swayed to choose a certain path based on what others see reflected, rather than the path that i try to keep aimed on. even that path that i am trying to keep aimed on is blurry..

this is all too confusing..
