i urge anyone who wants a new take on things to do the same thing.. hang out with one of your parents, and have them tell you about their childhood.. and your childhood.. and all the people that came in and out of your life..
this picture is the house that my parents lived in when i was born. it’s hard to believe that i used to sleep in the same cradle in this house so many years ago that my baby paloma sleeps in now… so long ago.. so far away..

I was married in Santa Paula in a small, privately owned chapel called “The Church of Angels” on East Pleasant Street. It’s a cool, old little church. There are a LOT of cool Craftsman and Victorian houses in S.P., and my wife and I used to drive down Santa Barbara St., and Santa Paula St., and dream about owning one one day.
Then, the bitch left me.
Now I am single again, looking to sell our house and find a place for me and my two cats, and two dogs.
