i’m with jason on this one, too..
this is some funny shit. this is the one thing i don’t understand about rap, and the one reason i call bullshit on so many accounts.
i call bullshit mostly because i have found in life that most things in life make sense. if they don’t, they are bullshit.. most of the time.
anyway.. think about hard rap.. basically, it’s a dude spouting off about how high he gets, how much booty he rocks, how much bling bling he’s got, and how many niggas he shot..
okay.. the first three are crap. sure..
the booty is booty like boone’s farm is wine.. it will get you drunk, but it’s still low grade crap.. if you define getting booty as getting with a female.. a whole world opens up.. and man is that an ugly ass world..
getting high all the time is retarded.. no one who busts enough ass to have a hit record gets that high.. we called snoop dogg out on this once.. but heard nothing.. (i NEED to find that old blog entry..)
i have commented on bling bling already.. but if the rap world is like the rest of the music business, these sukka mc’s should realize that their bling bling is rented.. and in a year or so, they are gonna be back living in their mama house..
and last but not least. how many niggaz he done shot.. doesn’t it seem whack that someone could make a record talking about the people he killed and no one would listen to it and bust em? i am sure that if i wrote a song about cheating on my taxes or parking longer than 20 minutes on main street, the fuzz would come down on me hard..
the reason no one cares is because these cats are lying..
not that i follow the rap world.. but if killing niggaz and writing about it is such a big deal, why haven’t we heard a rap from the guys who shot biggie and tupac? i mean come on.. that is some big game now.. that is like taking out a spotted rhino at 300 yards.. i would brag about that if i were them..
think about it.. if you kill someone and rap about it.. no one cares..
so let’s hear the story on top of some fat beats..
